Hi lunasmile,
What foods have you tried feeding your Golden Nugget on? And what time of day do you feed? If you haven't tried it already, add some food after lights out, as being nocturnal he'll be more inclined to come out and find some. They do like eating cucumber and courgette, so you could try adding slices weighed down with a plant weight. I've also seen them grazing on frozen foods too.
