skinny loach - worms or bacterial disease?

Post by avee » Fri Jun 01, 2007 6:07 am

One of my 6 loaches has become skinny lately. He is less active then others and doesn't eat much. (all loaches are ca 7 cm long)

Two weeks ago some tiger barbs from the same tank had part of their tails missing and I suspected fin rot and treated them with antibacterial liquid.

Now I don't know if I should treat the skinny loach for internal parasites or bacterial disease?

What about the other loaches? Should I leave them untreated until some signs appear? They are fat and active at the moment!

Hi, Avee :-)
What kind of Loaches do you have?
How long have you had them?
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!
