Pangio javanicus pics

Post by gulogulo » Thu Mar 09, 2006 10:54 pm

Well after many bad shots and lots of patience I have some pics of my P. j.'s to share.
First some shots of my 5 year old that I believe is becoming gravid. If you agree or disagree I would like to know. Currently this one and another are in a 25g tank with 2 pearl gouramis and a clown pleco. When the new species only tank is set up they will join the 4 new P. j.'s

And now a few shots of the new guys in quarantine. So far so good, I got 4 on Saturday and all 4 are doing fine (no KUSS yet)

I just stopped at the lfs today and they got a good shipment of P.j.'s and some P. anguillaris. :D Sigh, guess I'll have to prepare another tank. Oh and they're both only $1.99  :D :D

I can; but the resolution is a bit low so it is not certain what I see.
The 3rd picture looks like it *may be* it.

Well lets see if everyone can see the pics now. I realize the quality is not great but neither is the camera and the photographer is even worse.

Yup! formerly known as Acanthophthalmus javanicus. Nice looking fish I couldn't see the pics when I looked this morning.
