Hello everyone, it's been awhile!

Post by LUVaLOACH » Tue Jul 03, 2007 10:09 pm

Hello and I hope this finds everyone doing well. I am headed toward the big "D" and as much as I hate to do it, I have to downsize my animal and fish family.

I only know of one person who is local to me on this board and I have contacted him, but wanted to check and see if there were any new members local to east TN that would be interested in any of the following:

2-3 Spot Gouramis
2-Huge Silver Dollars
1-Rhino Pleco (3 inches)
2-Rainbows (blue)
4-B.Splendens (beautiful fish 3 inches)
4-B.Kubotia (love these guys 3 1/2 inches)
2-Spotted Climbing Perch (awesome fish both around 5 inches)
3-Dojo/Weather Loaches (beautifully marked, plump and adorable)

As much as I hate to part with them I have no choice. Just thought I would put it out there, hopefully Batch will want them as I am giving away the tanks/stand/heaters/filtration systems, the whole shebang.

Thanks guys,
Kris

OOer..... :? How strange........I just said to Dr. Momfish the other day that I wondered where you had got to and up you pop :D

Soooo.....you made the big decision then. Despite the fact that it will inevitably be a stressful time, in the long run I believe you'll find it's for the best.

Once you get yourself sorted out and settled again you can always set up another aquarium.....or more  Addie and you can relish your love of nature unhindered and the ex can sit in front of the TV watching sport without distraction to his heart's content  Somehow, I think you and your daughter will get the best deal out of this.....certainly more fulfilling.

Wish I could help with the fish situation. At least if nobody steps up you have nice fish that a shop ought to be willing to take off your hands.

Best of luck and chin up eh?

PS.....Independance Day is a good time to announce this 8)

Martin.

I too had been wondering where you had got to! Best of luck with everything Krista, and come back when you are all settled and have set up a new loach tank. In the meantime, you can always keep in contact with the crazy gang over on the O/T.

Hi and good news...

Happy 4th to you all! Thanks for the warm welcome back and your kind and supportive words. Martin, your reply brought me to tears, in a good way! You are so right...Happy Independence Day to Addie and I!!! You are such a wise man...thank you!

Batch, whom I met on this forum, is local and has come to the rescue. He even offered to take the tanks and care for them until I can get on my feet, along with several other options. What a great guy! Great people here!

I will be keeping in touch and looking forward to some OT discussions  It's kinda funny, now that I finally got this fishkeeping thing down tight...boom...but hey, I'll be a much happier fish keeper in the future and I won't have anyone to limit my MTS!!!! HA!!!!! That's kinda scary

Take care and thanks again,

Kris

This just gets better :D If Batch can look after your babies AND the equipment till you're back on your feet that is brilliant! Big kudos to him!
That will avoid the obvious costs of setting everything all up again.

Please do keep in touch. It's sad when nice people just dissapear because life circumstances change.

Go Vols! (and supporters) :D

Martin.

Smile, what doesnt kill you makes you stronger. I know you will miss your tanks and fish, but it is great that you found someone who will keep your things. Good luck and indeed stay in touch.

Chris
