My new 1000 liters clown loaches tank (page 22)

Hi all,

This are some shots of my loaches:

Tank setup (started on january 13, 2007):
150x50x60cm = 450L (119 Gallons)
Lights: 2x40 watts (about 0,2 watts/L)
Soft small river gravel
Temperature range: 27 to 30°C
pH: 6.6 - 6.8
GH: 3
KH: 2
Total Filtration: 15.5x + 5000 L/h SunSun + 5400 L/h Koralia circulating pumps
2 AquaClear50 hang on (757 L/h each)
2 AquaClear70 hang on (1135 L/h each)
Undergravel filtering system using 2x650 L/h powerheads

Fishes:
30 Clown loaches: 3 to 9"
1 Chinese Algae Eater 2.5"
1 6" red tail shark
Plants:
Anubia gigantea

Yes clownygirl.

There are 2 blue JD there, 5 and 7" long. Bigger one thinks he is a clownloach as well. He uses to swim with them and even eat same food! :lol:

Hi ckk125,

Those tiger are here for a couple months. The bigger one sometimes disturb the YoYos (nothing serious) but only if them get too close. Never see the tigers running after any fish here.
BTW, those tiger share some hiding places with the clowns. No stress at all. 8)

It is fantastic to see another large-sized group of clown loaches. They look to be very much enjoying each others company. 8) I would watch the S. helodes as they mature though, they might need rehoming if their usual aggression level becomes apparent. :wink:
