As Shari said i keep hillstream loaches which i can assure you definatly do not eat snails. I wish they did. And at £3.49 for 10 they darn well should be better than mine. Gold plated in fact. If you had'nt noticed this is a forum for the (FREE!) sharing of information and resources, not for tryin to flog stuff at over-inflated prices. You might have better luck on E-bay!rossss wrote:Yeah but mine are better than yours :p Anyway, if u have loaches u shouldnt have any, they usually get eaten pretty quickly!Gary Herring wrote:Err.... actually i happen to have squillions of those exact same darn snails overrunning my rivertank. Cant get rid of the bloody things! So if anybody does actually want some, i can offer as many as you may want for the total price of..... ABSOLUTLY FREE!
Send me a PM of your details an i'll send em on.
Sorry rossss!!!!!

rossss,
Are you at all interested in loaches themselves, or is this forum simply a possible place to expand your business? Do you keep any loaches? If not, while we appreciate the offer and won't delete your post (in case anyone else is interested) continuing discussion here is about loaches.
This is the LOACH forum, after all.
Thanks for the offer, and you're welcome to share your snails with us, but don't take exception to people who already have free access to as many snails (or more) than they can handle, or who offer them free of charge to others.
thanks.

Rossss,
I do apologise, im sure your snails are truly wonderful and i did not mean to offend them, or you.
However, as your little advertisement was your very first post, and you did not even introduce yourself, it is pretty obvious that the only reason you registered on this site was to flog your (IMO overpriced) merchendise. Although this is not my problem, it is slightly irritating as people pay good money to advertise legitimatly on this site (at top of screen - there's even a link that tells you how!), money which presumably funds the upkeep and smooth running of the site which we all use and gain benefit from.

Just to point out the possibilities, here is one of the ads that can be found at the top of the site:
"Pond Snails @ThePondStore
Pond Snails just $1.00 - $1.60ea Supplies-Plants-Snails & much more"
and the link goes to:
http://www.pondmegastore.com/pondsnails ... Ggod0Va2jA
in case rossss wants to put up an ad, yanno...
And just a reminder--everytime someone clicks on one of those ads (you don't have to buy anything) revenue is generated to support the site...

Note to self; Never ever, ever listen to Momfish and post a picture of yourself (that she took) in the buff on the OT because it will come back to haunt you after someone else doctors it . I was only trying to take a good wash on a camping/canoeing trip after all .
Martin.

Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
