Thanks Shari!!!

I'm sure more people than just Shari had some input into the article Shari wrote - http://www.loaches.com/Members/shari2/l ... chloride-1 - but since her name is on the article :D

Anyway, a few weeks ago I received 5 small (1" - 1.5") clown loaches from Pet Solutions. I've ordered from them before with no issues, but the fish have never been clowns. This time it was clear that at least one of the fish had CWS and most likely two of them were infected. If I had decided to send them back I'm sure the sick fish would not have made the trip, so it was time to try some Levamisole Hydrochloride. To this end, Shari's article was invaluable. I've since treated the tank twice and the sick loaches are looking better. They still need to bulk up a little bit, but they are 1000% more active and swimming properly again (no more "knifing"). The tank is due for the third round of treatment tomorrow or Wednesday.

So the point of this is thanks Shari, you saved the lives of at least two of my new clowns :D

BTW: Here's where I bought my Levamisole: http://www.jedds.com/ProductDetail.asp? ... uctID=4343

Just a quick update. I've finished the third round of treatment and the skinny little guy is doing much better....he's extremely active, always looking for food and almost always swimming with his little brethren (unlike a couple of weeks ago when they would shoo him away). He still needs to bulk up a little more, but the improvements thus far have been great.

Thanks again Shari!
