To add to the recent discussions on loach intimidation/murders of Cardinals and Odessa Barbs, something unpleasant noticed in my qtank:

(I'm sorry for the awful photo, I spent a lot of time trying to get a decent one, but the fish is always showing the other side...possibly the eye is damaged too.)

This seems to be a missing gill plate. The fish was ok at the beginning... I don't see how HOB or powerhead or other rasboras could do this, so it leaves the Striata's as the most like perps.

Given that they were seen chasing rasboras many times, this is sufficient evidence for at least a grand jury. :lol:
