About a month ago I set up a ten gallon with a sponge filter and moved my 6 C. pygmaeus into it. I was hoping (again!) to get them to spawn. I never noticed any spawning activity. Then I noticed that my albino cories were gravid, so I moved them into the tank also for a few days. They spawned within days, and I moved them out of the tank to keep them from eating their eggs.
Of course, the eggs hatched, and I have many many little cories all over the tank.
Then, this past Monday,as a last ditch effort, I changed 1/3 of the tank's water with fresh rain water (since we had so much of it

Yesterday, while my daughter was looking at the tank, she noticed a little black and white striped fry moving in and out of the gravel. Then she noticed another. I saw one of them today, too!

My question is: Are Corydoras pygmaeus fry striped as soon as they hatch, or do they develop the stripes later? There seem to be some other very tiny white fry in the tank. These are smaller than the other albino fry. I'm just wondering if they are just extra small albinos or newly hatched pygmaeus.
Thanks so much for the help.
