Odyssey,
Once again thank you so much for posting such amazing fish. I love your pictures, the fish. Thank you for spending the time to do this. I am so happy to see fish, I may never see.
Could you do me a big favor if you have time when you post next? Could you tell us where the pictures are taken river, tank, . . . (name of river, what country, state), could you tell us how deep the water is? And show us a picture outside the water if you are in the wild, so we can see what the river looks like? What is the temp in the water? When you name the fish, could give a common genus name like cichlid, guppy, goby, loach, just so I know what it is (if you know what it is) and could you tell us how big some of these fish are? Some look like they would be really small, but some look like they would be big. I am just curious. I don't mean for every picture (I know it is a lot of work), but for a few.
For example Barbatula barbatula (loach, Japan, 4") I am just making it up.
But I did look the fish up. I thought it might be a loach, but I have never heard of it before, and I was amazed they are in Europe and in Japan. Wonder if it is natural or introduced. I could never keep it since the only way to get my water cold enough is to put icecubes in it.
I also look forward to more of your travel and cultural photos.

Thank you so much for sharing with us, Tanja.
