Re: Freshwater fishes in Japan(4)
Hi!
I visited the river and the lake in Hokkaido in the north of Japan at the end of last year.
The water temperature of the river where a char lived was only 1.8℃.
I was not able to see as much as one fish though I challenged underwater photography in the river
The video clip is on Youtube. Sorry! without any fish.
https://youtu.be/8AxG4HLQbI4

On one freezing lake, a lot of sportfishermans were doing the fishing in an ice hole of the fresh-water smelt on the lake which froze up.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to watch many fish in Hokkaido of the winter.
However, I was able to watch a famous snow monkey afterwards in Nagano.
Because it is uploaded in the next forum, look if good.

Wow, those are breathtaking photos. It's always great to see the real shots straight from biotopes

Hi!
Thank you for the comment.
The suburban cherry blossom had been scattered, but I took such pictures last week.

There was such an event last year, so I share that too.
