The two most commonly seen species used to be
Bedotia geayi and
Bedotia tricolor, as I understand it now
B. tricolor and
B. longianalis are now classed as
Bedotia geayi.
Occasionally
Bedotia madagascariensis showed up as contaminants but very very rarely but this fish is now probably the most common fish and seems to be the fish commonly thought of as
B. geayi
I would love to have
Bedotia marojejy and
Bedotia sp. “Lazana”, my idea is to set up another tank and have ideally 3 species in separate tanks

Pardon my honesty - I am a Northerner
14 loach species bred, which will be next?
