Pygmaeus fry again! :)

Post by loachmom » Sun Mar 07, 2010 6:39 pm

Not too long ago, I posted that my Corydoras pygmaeus had spawned. Well, I had three fry survive from that spawning. They are adorable little miniatures of the adults, and they like to school with the big kids now.
I thought that the parents were finished with spawning as I had noticed no more fry. Yesterday, I was doing lots of tank maintenance and decided that I would put the cories back in the 30 gallon. When I went to remove their decor so that I could catch them, I started to notice black and white striped fry moving in the gravel. I'm very happy about this!!! Here is a pic of their ten gallon tank.

It's nothing special, but I hope it becomes home to lots of little cories. There are also 5 habrosus cories in there, and I hope they decide to increase their numbers also!
