New fish for Hillstream tank.

I have 3 Sewellia (not sure the sub species were sold as lineolata) and 8 White cloud mountain minows. Tank also has 5 Neocaridina Heteropoda and 3 Assasin snails wich are slowly rounding up my pest snail population.

Tank is 100 Liter 36" and filtered by an Eheim Aquaball 130 and 60. Temp is 21-22C and has a heater to keep it stable.

I think Rosy barb will be too big and may not like the flow in the tank. I was looking at Ticto or Gold barb?
I'd like something colourful to keep the wife happy

I'm planning on getting a pair of Rhinogobius at some stage (when i finally find some local) so don't want to over load the tank.

I think I would go with one of the danio species that are more adapted to the flow than the barbs you mentioned.

Definitely.

Danio roseus live at the base of waterfalls for instance.







or Danio choprai are lovely

I pulled these off another site and yeah, it gave me a shock too! By the way, I noticed the other day that your soul-patch is a lot greyer than it was back then.........

Thanks for the info, i think Danio choprae require a minimum of 22C?

I'll look into Danio roseus.

The Danio choprae are stunning, I'm getting 30 of them tomorrow after a long waiting period.

They are a great river tank fish and love the current.
