Found an S-1000 Aquatower !

Post by sorce » Sat Jun 12, 2010 12:15 am

A 5ft tall 8inx8in Acrylic monster. In the Garbage. $500, How excited was I?
Besides a too hot light melt at the top and a little build up at the bottom, neither visible, it is perfect.

I've never had an acrylic tank before.

What to clean it with? Scratchlessly. That's a new word!

Thanks Loachers

i recently got a used 180g tru-vu aquarium, and cleaned it with a tru-vu scratch removal kit. One would probably have been enough, but I used about one and a half kits to get every inch of my 180 inside and out; looks brand new! the kits each only include one small tru-vu cleaning cloth, but a clean terry cloth rag will do just fine.
Just call me Pierce :)
