yeah those colour granules are what i use as well. all my fish love them and they are meant to be less toxic then the sinking pellets when decomposing though no food is left in my tank with the loaches around.

If you worry you can't get enough food to the rams, you can target feed but putting a clean tube in the water, so one end is near the rams, and putting the food in the tube and waiting for it to sink to the rams. Also as soon as the Rams settle they will get better about grabbing their share of the food. They are really gorgeous. Let me know how they do in the community.

I'll pick some up the next time I go to the store.

They seem to be doing great so far in the community tank.

I added one more female ram and some more tetras.

I'm done for a while!! :)

I will definitely let you know how they do in the coming weeks.

Everyone is doing great so far. I will make sure to keep you updated on them, any problems I might run into and how things are going. I've been on the hunt lately for a fish for my boyfriend. He's got the fish bug now :)
