Q-tank question

I picked up a pair of fish from a local breeder and have them in my 10 gal Q tank since 9/12/10. I would like to move them to the 55gal community tank but dont want to move them too soon. So my question is how long do you keep fish in the Q-tank before moving them to their permanent home? I was thinking a month should be enough time for any sort of problems to appear.

I usually keep them in the Q tank a month if I don't see any problems. It also gives them a chance to feel better, stronger, after being jostled about in moving from tank to tank.

Mediate as needed and start the month after meds are removed from the tank.
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.
