I don't have any pics of the female...she is all blue. I am taking a video- will be shared later. ;) Oh yes! It is a red/blue dragon HM (halfmoon) pair from a registered betta breeder.

More info later- I am soooo happy/excited that I am having trouble typing.

Many updates...tons to write!

The fry have been fed a mix of microworms for the first little while then started on BBS. I do still add some microworms for the smaller ones, which works out well.

The first spawn (July 1st) ended up with 10 - 20 fry, which I am certainly not complaining about. lol Separating the males is touch with the larger spawns!! With frequent water changes, it does get to be quite a bit of work with a lot of males. The females can be kept together.

I did spawn them a second time, as I was hoping for a larger spawn. That turned out very well, and on July 24th, there were new eggs in a bubblenest! This spawn turned out very well, the 2 'parents' made it in very good shape (you wouldn't know that they were just in the breeding tank), and a good amount of fry came out of it. :D

The best I can describe them is swimming eyes with bellies and tails. LOL

Older fry: (hoping to take more pics tonight! lol most were blurry)

I LOVE your video!!! That's probably the best spawning video i have ever seen. I've watched tons on youtube...lol...but yours is just spectacular. What a couple of pro's!
Truly amazing. Hopefully someday I'll get some more bettas' and possible be a witness to the same thing. Til now, I'll simply keep my eyes on yours.
Thank you for the video, and the pics!!!
