Leptobotia generally get quite large and have large mouths. they should therefore be kept with suitably sized fish as small fish may be eaten. Otherwize peaceful.

This specimen came in as a contaminant with a batch of Sinobotia pulchra.

question--is it taeniOps or taeniAps? In our list it is with an A...

nevermind. I get it. It's 'O', right? I'll fix it...

You will note that in my list it also had an a, but when I discovered that this is a common mis-spelling of the name during researching the profile, I in fact altered the name in Cyan and put a note beside it. I think you made your list version before I changed the spelling.

I moved this thread as a test. It's easy once you're in. I bet it's not ready to be moved yet, and we'll want to remove the subsequent notes? Great site dynamics, JS.

Nah...it's pretty much ready Mark. I did find something unitalicized that had been missed before though :)

Maybe we're thinking of something different here... I figured that we'd move threads to this forum after we've copied the text and images over to the new website. Mark, did you already make this page on the community site? I can't find it anywhere...

We don't necessarily need to move over finished pages, since we can certainly edit things on the new site. But maybe it would make more sense from an organizational standpoint to only move over finished pages?

No - sorry, I did not copy this to the new site. We should probably delete it and wait until we (I) know how it works.

Then you have to take it out of the descriptions, Herr Doktor!

It is out of the Species Descriptions Forum....you're looking at a shadow entry because I forgot to check the box wnen I moved it. Did that with something else (forget what) and decided to eradicate the shadow. If you do that you lose the original also, so I left these few files here on that list ....they're all done.

They're a different colour....it's a clue
