If you don't ask............
..........you don't get.
I got a reply today from Mian in China. Permission to use those photographs that I posted a link to the other day......plus he sent a link to some more
So I've downloaded 31 photographs!!!! Some of these are going to knock your socks off! They're not big pictures, but the quality is pretty good.
I'll start doing some profiles today that I've been avoiding for lack of decent pictures......no more!
All those xanthic loaches, plus the supercilaris and pulchra came from a FOOD MARKET!
Martin.

All the new pics Mian gave me a link to just appeared as a load of computer code, but i managed to pull the URL's out from the jumble. therefore, if there were English captions, i haven't seen them.
As you'll have seen by the profiles I've done so far, I got lucky finding ID on some of them, but there's some mixed pictures which aren't necessarily useful as species profile pics, but cool anyway. Id's required on some of this stuff.
Graeme.....sit down boy and cover your keyboard
Homaloptera somethingi?
A mixed bunch. Probably Sinogastromyzon wui, I think maybe a mind-blowing Jinshai sinensis and possibly Pareuchiloglanis anteanalis.
Graeme's having heart palpitations about now.....some really cool Schistura, Parabotia maculosa, Sinibotia pulchra, and other out of focus stuff. Don't know about that largest fish?
Think this is a Cobitis chinensis and a Parabotia maculosa.
And now a whattheheckisthat?
It looks mean to me
Mian is a friend of Zhou Hang's so I believe that getting permission to use some of his pics won't be too difficult.
