help needed

Post by chaoz » Wed Mar 19, 2008 2:02 pm

hi.new on here so hello :D

i have a nice shoal of clown loaches all doing fine apart from one which was a sad story of a rescue.

basicly hes so thin yet eats fine, smims plays alot, excellent colours seem perfectly heathly apart from being so skinny.

im thinking along the lines of an internal parasite/worms whats the best way to trat this as i dont want to use the wrong medication.

all water parameters are spot on,tanks big enough plenty of caves etc.

If it's not too late, Prazipro and antibiotics sometimes helps. For antibiotics you can use Maracyn I & Maracyn II in combination.

If that doesn't work you can try Levamisole or Flubendazole.

You may want to read this article about Levamisole-
