PRAZIQANTEL

Post by Dano » Wed Apr 30, 2008 1:43 pm

Re: Posts dealing with skinny disease. A number of posts dealing with skinny disease have recommend using praziqantel as a possible treatment. I found this product (Gel.tek) that contains the "P" .0057% solution. The directions suggest 5 drops per fish twice a day repeat every 24hrs for 3 days. These instructions seem a bit weird and may produce over dosage. Does anyone have any comment on this or perhaps a more accurate means of dosage. I need to treat the affected fish as soon as possible. Thank you

It's fairly difficult to overdose praziquantel.

I've never had much luck with gel-tek ultra cure px. Maybe you'll have better luck with it though.

It's not too easy to take too much praziquantel.

Gel-Tek Ultra Cure PX has never worked well for me. However, perhaps you'll have more success with it.  retro bowl college
