Kuhlii - what's wrong?

Post by Johanski » Tue Aug 26, 2008 3:27 pm

So, I have a friend with a weird looking kuhlii. It's got some weird white layer thats wrinkly, coating its head. It's behaving as usual. It's fat and healthy as the pictures shows.

Any idea of what it can be?

I don't think there is anything wrong with that Pangio. Many do not have any scales on the head area, and a few species (like the one shown) reflect a blue sheen from the skin of the head when photographed. See what everyone else thinks.

They arn't as pronounced as the picture you have put up and the pictures are not as close but Im sure I can see some wrinkles in the Pangio kuhlii , not in the other Pangio species though
