q tank medication question

q tank medication question

I just got a new fish and have him in a 10 gal q tank, I have been treating him with melafix (one dose so far 2 more to go) and I was wondering after that treatment, a 50% water change, and 24 hours of no med, should I dose him with one dose of quick rid for parasites?

does it show signs of parasites?
Make sure to quarantine for a month.

ich can hide out for that long.

no he looks really healthy just wanted to see if I should dose him regardless

wait a few weeks, then make that decision.
parasite meds stress fish out.

What kind of fish?
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.
