Clowns with Skinny Disease

Post by shark75 » Tue Dec 30, 2008 8:56 pm

Three of the six clowns i purchased a couple weeks ago have the "skinny" disease. Does anyone know how or where i can get Levamisole Hydrochloride in the Syracuse, NY area? If any local hobbyists have some extra available could you please PM me. Thanks for your help.

If you can't find Levamisole right away, sometimes Prazipro and Maracyn I & II will help. Levamisole only treats for roundworms. Praziquantel and Maracyn I & II, will take care of flatworms and most bacterial infections.

Thanks for your help. Are you saying to treat with all three at once or if i can find any of these to use one? The main reason i was looking for the Levamisole was because from the article posted here it looked like it treated a wide variety of worms. Thanks, Jim

Yes, you'd use Prazipro and Maracyn I & II at the same time.

If you don't know what you are treating, then you take one of three courses. Either treat for roundworms, flatworms, or infection. If one don't work, then try the other.
