fantail loosing colour???

Post by cuckoofins » Fri Apr 24, 2009 6:14 pm

:? Hi I would if anybody can help resolve a question regarding a fantail goldfish.

This goldfish I've had for 5 mths now, it was young when I brought it up untill the passed week it was a very light golden/orange colour all over.
I noticed the colour has gone lighter & going white On the body, but its fin remain the same colour.
I tested the water its fine, its eating & swimming normal there no sign its sick what's so ever, & all other fish are fine.
Could anyone suggest what it could be to make the fish change colour?

The other fish I have with it are,
X2 black moors
X1 mixed veil
X2 mixed fantail
X1 ryskin
Thanks any help welcome

From what I understand, goldfish will change color over time. I know comets that start orange can go black and gold and on to white as they age.
Not sure about the fantails, but I'd wonder if it couldn't apply to them as well.

best wait for more input, but I'd think in absence of other sickly symptomology, it is likely ok.
books. gotta love em!
