shocking survey

Post by roney48 » Mon Nov 09, 2009 6:08 am

Millions of people suffer from infections transmitted by these vectors, infections such as malaria, yellow fever, dengue fever, sleeping sickness and filariasis. Malaria, the most widespread, is endemic in 100 developing countries, putting some 2 billion people at risk. In sub-Saharan Africa alone, malaria cost s an estimated $1.7 billion a year in treatment and lost productivity. It is really shocking.

Yea, I had to have lots of shots before I went to Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama earlier this year ... much safer that way.

Around here in Southern Ontario Canada, we have to watch out for West Nile Virus, Lyme disease and other causes of Encephalitis ... no shots to take in advance for those

What is the survey you are referring to ?
