Over 5 days ago I've noticed white spots on one of my kuhli loaches. It looks like worn spots and it don't progress. BUT today I cought a glimpse of that white spots on the side of my enother kuhli. :( In other respects my loaches behave as usual.
What can it be? Does it looks like the beginning of any disease? Or is it normal and transient occurrence?

The worn spot

Best regards and much thanks

I see stretch spots like that on most of my older loaches. I just think it's a sign of maturity and growth.

No need to worry!

My striped Kuhlies have spots like this as well. Since many striped Loaches are under the umbrella of "Kuhli," it can be hard to tell which species you have. Their markings are so individual and apt to change with time and mood. In fact, most Loaches change pattern over time. To look at a mature Clown Loach versus a juvenile one is a good example. Some seem to keep their colour and pattern longer than others.

Bye for now,
