Im Dan from somerset uk and have a serious problem with my clown loaches. Im hoping to get a definitive answer as there is alot on google about this.
Ok so my tank is a 200 litre and has been set up for 2 years roughly. It contains
4 silver sharks
4 colombian red tailed tetras
1 tin foil barb
6 clown loaches
the biggest fish out of all of these is 5inches.
All was going well until last week we noticed a clown loach breathing very very fast (the small 2 inch one) and was swimming abit all over the place and the next day it was dead on the bottom of the tank with a white velvet covering his body, although last time we seen him alive there was no indication of him being ill apart from the heavy breathing and mouth open constantly. Now 2 loaches are doing the same and they are bloated,i really dont want to lose anymore especially the 5 inch loach

The tank parimeters are as follows
PH -7.4
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite -0ppm
Nitrate -15ppm
Temp is 25-26c
I took a video and you can just make out the gill rapidly breathing.

In the past 2 week we have added live plants and done mainly 20% water changes every other day with and 50% water change at times. Also pulled the pump outlet out of the water for my oxygen in the water.
Please if there is anyone that can help let me know asap as my and my girlfriend are soooo worried about them.
Many thanks in advance
Dan and jenny
