Skinny Dojo Loach

Post by Stephenie » Sun Mar 23, 2014 12:46 pm

I currently have three dojo loaches that I got about a year ago. One of them is about 71/2 inches long quite chubby one is about 5 inches average size but my third one has always been really thin. He's about 4 1/2 to 5 inches eats very well ( goes to top to eat with angelfish as well as pellets) very very active very friendly. He is actually my most social one. he even "hugs" the other loaches and swims with them. My question is: Is the skinny size ok and is that hugging behavior normal? He has always been this way since I first brought him home.

Skinny is not OK. Behavior is fine.

Have a look here at Loaches in this forum for many threads about skinny disease.
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!
