Thanks for bringing these up, I always find it very interesting to see pics of fish habitats. Helps me setting up biotopes :D

sweet! thanks for posting those... i too have spent many hours clicking on things i dont understand on siamensis but haven't found anything that awesome yet. 8)

hi, I'd say that that was a cummings barb, barbus cummingi.

Anyway, I've had a lot of pleasure looking through all the pictures at Siamensis.org and I highly recommend people do the same. Almost every thread houses stunning pictures. I do think I've exhausted my resources, so this might be all I can come up with.

the barb i think is a new species yet to be named, defintely not cummingi.

and that eel is quite common on the dinner table, in the mastacemblus genus definitely..
