Hi,
I know Dojos are *the* Weather Loaches reacting to barometric changes with increased activity.
Does anyone know if there are other loaches sensitive to weather changes?
Over the last two days, Florida has been bracing for the big storms that have been racing across the US. It is very warm and humid today, and I expect the thunderstorms will arrive in about 2 hours. That should drop our temp by 25 degrees usually in a very short period of time. Hopefully no tornadoes with the temp drop.
My small Kuhlies have been swimming like crazy since yesterday. Chasing each other all over the tank, up an down the glass. I usually see these two Kuhlies out and about, but this frenzied swimming is unusual. The other fish in the tank are normal and easy going including horsefaced loaches and oblongas.
When the Kuhlies settle down again I will try to get a picture of them. They are really pretty. They have bands across their back that split in two at about the lateral line, so it looks like they have triangles down their sides. Very pretty. I will go back to my LFS and get the rest this week.
Thanks, Tanja.

I've read of someone elses kuhlis being very active before a storm too, but who knows they are crazy kuhlis
. That storm is heading my way in Carolina too. I've been keeping an eye on it the past two days; it shouldn't arrive here until dinner time. Good luck
