The FattyLoachs special eating behavior
Our biggest clown loach called "FettoBotian" (English: FattyLoach) has a very funny eating behavior.
When I`m givning them Vipachips, FattyLoach immediately takes the chips in its mouth, swim into it`s own little cave, eats it really really fast, then repeat it until the food is out. When I filmed this video, FattyLoach ate about 12 Vipachips during the feeding, insane!.

And this video is edited so that you can see when Fatty swims around, searching for food, then back to the cave to have a feast!.

Nice tank!! I really like that large piece of wood. Apparently so does FettoBotian .Its interesting to watch him take his food to a more secluded place to dine. I have never seen a fish do that before.

6 x Clown Loaches all 30 years of age on 01.01.2024, largest 11.5", 2 large females, 4 smaller males, aquarium 6' x 18" x 18" 400 ltr/90 uk gal/110 US gal. approx.

I have a clown that does the same. He grabs a piece goes into this corner eats and reappears for more.
