The FattyLoachs special eating behavior

Post by Hanna.Ö » Mon Mar 07, 2011 10:49 am

Our biggest clown loach called "FettoBotian" (English: FattyLoach) has a very funny eating behavior.

When I`m givning them Vipachips, FattyLoach immediately takes the chips in its mouth, swim into it`s own little cave, eats it really really fast, then repeat it until the food is out. When I filmed this video, FattyLoach ate about 12 Vipachips during the feeding, insane!.

I filmed this video in one take:

And this video is edited so that you can see when Fatty swims around, searching for food, then back to the cave to have a feast!.

Nice tank!! I really like that large piece of wood. Apparently so does FettoBotian .Its interesting to watch him take his food to a more secluded place to dine. I have never seen a fish do that before.
