haha... a lot of work is an understatement glenna! LOL. It took longer researching than building and building wasnt very quick. I also have to sell both kidneys, my left lung and 9 of my toes to fund the damn thing  jks.

cheers mate.

UPDATE:
a little bit of growth from the hc, peacock moss and java fen. The hm is being annoying and has partly melted away. theres one gambusia in there to help with cycling but i am also adding media from other tank into new filter every couple of days.

Hi there!

The tank is looking LOVELY!!

If I put MY yoyo;s in there, there would totally wreck it!...and I imagine gobble up those beautiful little shrimp. They are boisterous fish and chase each other all around the tank.

BTW, the gourami is really nice and looks very graceful. I recently got one and have not regretted it. Contrary to what I have read, he is a good eater and takes care f himself well. REALLY nice work, would love to hear your thoughts on what you continue to plan for the tank. I know that plans grow and change over time, esp as you see your beautiful plants start to thrive!!!!

please keep posting pics,

gg
