My Big Boy....and some friends :)

Post by mamaschild »

I was treating the loaches to some bloodworms last night, and had to have my son (9) go get the camera. He just told us at Christmas that he wants to be a Photographer. With these pics, I think he has a pretty good chance. Yep, I'm a PROUD MAMA :D

Ok, I must be doing something wrong. Only the first pic shows up? I'll do additional posts for the other pics for now, but can someone help me??

Thanks :)

Well, that time, two showed up??? Oh well, there they are :D

This is my 15 year old, ~10" Clown. I received him from the original owner about 1 year ago. He had been in a 60g all that time. Now he's in a 125g and just a BIG WET PUPPY

Wow! You either have some big fish or small hands! Nice mix of very healthy looking fishies!

Martin.

Wy Wife said that "He’s so big that he stretched the color right out of himself!"

Thanks for the kind words everyone....yes, even "HOLY CRAP" is kind as far as I'm concerned

I know his color is a bit odd, but he more then makes up for it with his personality, as you can see ;)

Martin, I actually have long fingers, so those ARE big fish :D The Festivum was the size of a Quarter when I got him, now he's larger then my hand. The Marble Angel was smaller then that to begin with. The "Altum" looking guy, I bought a while back when I lost one of mine. He's almost twice the size of my little Marble "Buddi".

And you have all seen and heard about Jack, the Blue Dempsey....well, you have if you read my post in the Freshwater Forum :)

Ah, it's a Blue Dempsey. I've never seen one grown up, only those itty bitty baby ones at high prices. Looks like a male judging by head shape.
His eyes look Ok. So often Blue Dempseys have weird eyes.

That's a lovely clown, and tank.

You know, we should start a thread for posting pics of our tanks. I got alot of inspiration for my own from seeing the tanks of others.

btw, where's Gareth? His slate set up was lovely...
