Weather Loach social requirements

Hello All!
I'm planning out a future tank for Weather (Dojo) Loaches. They are awesome and I am really looking forward to observing them and their playful nature!

As part of this I am aware of two of the primary requirements being that a tank should be a minimum of 4' (122cm) long and due to their social nature a minimum of 3 Weather Loaches.

My question is whether it is possible to mix the golden variety with the standard coloration in the minimum 3 Weather Loaches (i.e. 2 Golden, 1 Standard or 2 Standard, 1 Golden), or if there is a chance that the color variation may cause issues with their social habits.

You can mix it. Both are the same species, the golden are only a color variant of M. anguillicaudatus (Weather loach).

I would suggest you to take some more as only three.
