Getting new loaches today!
I recently won an auction on Aquabid for a Box-O-Loaches and they will arrive today. 5 Gastromyzon ctenocephalus, 3 Gastos (species unknown), 6 Pangio semicincta, and a surprise group of loaches to fill out the box. I can't wait to get home today and open up the box of goodies! I will probably be looking for assistance IDing the unknown Gastros so look for pics in the future!

Current loach residents- 14 Pangio semicincta, 2 P. doriae, 4 P. myersi, 1 P. shelfordi, 5 P. anguilaris, 6 P. oblonga, 8 P. cuneovirgata 5 Chromobotia macracantha, 3 Gastromyzon ctenocephalus, 3 Gastromyzon species unknown
Re: Getting new loaches today!
They all came in healthy, the Gastros were a little stressed but are settling in nicely. The surprise loaches wer 2 really nice 2 inch clown loaches. I can't complain about free clown loaches but I will have to think about where to put them when they are done with quarantine.
I didn't have much time to try to identify the unknown Gastros but hopefully I will have ample time in the future.

Awesome, I love contaminants! I'm always looking for the oddball gastros. I took a look at Petes current auction and assuming those are the same fish, they don't look like any of the described species I can find. (Side note: I'm considering bidding on it but the clowns are giving me pause as I don't have room for them. Also, I wouldn't knowingly bid against a fellow LOL member.)
If you can get pics, try to get some decent shots of their rostrum and lateral line. I look forward to seeing them.

Currently keeping: gastromyzon spp., hypergastromyzon humilis, pseudogastromyzon sp., sewellia spp., ambastaia sidthimunki, homaloptera spp., serpenticobitis octozona, Yaoshania pachychilus. As well as various catfish, loricarids, livebearers and tetras.

They are the same ones. I may not have bid on the first ones had I known the surprise would be clown loaches but now that I have 2 I would like to get a bigger group. I will have to play some fish Tetris but I do have big enough tanks for the clowns for many years before needing to upgrade. A 75 should do well for awhile and I have a 125 that could be rearranged when they outgrow the 75.

Here are a few pictures of the unknown Gastromyzon species, haven't had type to type them out yet, suggestions welcome. They were in a shipment of G. ctenocephalus so best guess on location would be near G. ctenocephalus collecting areas.
