Awesome photo Martin. Thats a great fish too. I had a small group at one point, much more active than P. khuli in my opinion.

I love how much more like snakes P. anguillaris look than any other Kuhli. If the head is in the shot, they always look like pythons on the move - perhaps they have wider jaws to accommodate their small size... Anyway, they have a certain look that I love. I have four in the Kuhli/sid tank, but photo ops are extremely rare. I usually only see them when I'm cleaning the tank.
Your vantage point determines what you can see.

Definitely snaky. Look at the lidded look in the eyes...what's he after?

Insightful observations Mark, I agree, or perhaps one of those snakes that live in the ocean....interesting stuff.
Mine were definetly never out and about, alwats hiding under some slate or bogwood.
