Re: PHOTOS
I did a larger water change yesterday and put in the final dose of Kusuri.
Hope to see a significant change in another week.

Here is a video taken this past Sunday. Tough to get a good look because he’s moving so much. Slow recovery but not worse. I want that bone line to disappear!
Thank you.

Re: PHOTOS
He looks good Fran, good colours on him, no blotches, generally way better than the first pictures you posted when you opened the thread. You know better because you see him every day but from the pictures and videos I see, there's hope he will completely recover.
Re: PHOTOS
Hi Loach.
Yes his color has def improved. He’s no worse that’s for sure. Just waiting on the weight. It’s like he eats and he swells a bit but then a couple hours later he looks the same.
Thank you.

Re: PHOTOS
I watched the videos again, the one from last week and this week, and although it's very hard to see because of the narrow viewing window of the videos, I can see his bone a lot more last week than this week. I am as impatient as you are to see him fill out but I know complete recovery takes some time.
Re: PHOTOS
I am impatient. I just want to know the treatment worked! But I know time will tell. Thank you for sticking by me. Gives me hope.

FISH FIGHT!!
I’ve never seen these two do this. They had just finished a bloodworms meal. Five minutes later this happened. I distracted them with sinking wafers.

Well, Mr. Skinny seems to be able to hold his own. I never saw my clowns do that mouth to mouth fighting . Mine would do the head to tail circling, grayed out thing, often over special food. Maybe a few more bloodworms would be in order next time
I hope that's a sign he's feeling better.

Hey Nancy.
They did the circling too but yeah the mouth thing was surprising. Mr.Skinny is certainly bigger than the other one. Imagine when he gains his bulk back!!

Re: PHOTOS
So, I'd go with slightly heavier feeding & keeping an eye on nitrate & KH. If you can do water changes weekly or a bit more that'd be good, but that's not always possible. Do the best you can!
My fingers are crossed for your skinny guy, I think he's getting there! End of medicating may make all your loaches more hungry & boisterous. You're not still feeding metro flakes are you? I think it's time to stop meds of all kinds for now & go with lots of food & WCs.

Still keeping close eye on KH and nitrate. KH is 3.
I’m feeding twice a day to help bulk him up and I have not fed metro. Just doing one thing at a time.
Thanks Nancy.

He, he, Fran. They appear to be feeling great You must be doing something right
Re: PHOTOS
Thanks, Loach!
I think the whole tank looks more chipper. I’m attributing this all to the KH change. And it’s thanks to you and Nancy for pushing the issue.
Mr Slim looks plumper today. I hope he’s over his hump.
Still looking for the larger tank. A 125, Petsmart Aqueon, is only $560. To get a 100 or 90 gallon it’s double (without a stand)! Seems like a no brainer but I have the issue of finding a new rental property that accepts a large tank. I can’t get people to accept a 90 never mind a 125! My shrewd fiancé instructs me to say as little as possible and of someone says yes we accept, let it go.
You think the Aqueon with stand is crap?
