I think one of your boesmani's needs to call jenny craig though
! IMO, better large than skinny!
I can see why you call him 'big tail!' What a fantastic tank you have set up! I'm ungrading around the fall of next year, I've currently got a 20g cycling. I've already talked to individuals in my area who are selling big tanks. It's a lucky break to find a deal like that!
Your tank is very beautiful. It's nice to hear you have them set up around the clowns! Most people I've talked to set it up in a first-come-first-serve sort of manner.

This is why he is "Big Tail". That's him on the right. "Big Boy" on the left.
This pic is about a year old. They have both gained some girth since then.

I must say that what work that you do in setting up and maintain the environment (species, water condition, space ect..) for your clowns is great and it shows, they do look quite happy like Shari pointed out earlier. :)

Thanks vancmann. I try to provide them with security in hopes that they will show somewhat natural behavior....in the unnatural aquarium environment! I like to think of them as my pets....not just fish.

Interesting hmnnn... My guy that has the tubercles has a much bigger tail compared to his body than all my other Clowns. Maybe, male botias have bigger tails than females do in general. The shape is different too, it is not as sharp and the inner edge is not a straight "V" like the others. Anyone care to add their 2 cents to this? Here is an old photo I found with my smaller ones. He is the third from the top.

His tail is definatly bigger than the others. And he has the tubercles? I am still trying to get some close ups of my other clowns heads to look for tubercles.

Back when I took that photo shown with four of them, I dont remember him having any. Here is a picture of him that I took about a month ago with Breeding Tubercles.
