Holy crappola! Those are just incredible!. Pangio shelfordii are an extremely varied species but I didn't think that any variants featured any hint of conventional kuhli striping. The lateral mottling is typical of some shelfordii variants but in pictures I've seen it's always more defined and associated with a speckled brown dorsal surface.

Oh, my photographs are always available to Loaches Online. But first we need to be 100% sure that these are indeed Pangio shelfordii. Sometimes the suppliers list them as what they *think* they are, but this is not always correct. With such a high level of variation in this species, it may take a bit of looking into.
