Hels, if it's ok with you, please could you e-mail me the third picture down as I'd like to include it on the Botia striata species page. I'll need to crop it, but will of course make sure you are credited as being the photographer.
I also need to persuade Mad Duff to upload a pic of his strange B. striata too, so that we can build up a little gallery of these ones with markings 'other than the norm' (like we have for clown loaches).
they are settling in fine hopefully i will have some pictures later. Toms reaction when he came home was "Oh my god, the size of them!" Fatty was a bit cross, and one yoyo was a bit scared at first, but they now seem to be loachy dancing around together
Emma could you PM me your email, or is it look-up-able on here?
Great to hear they're settling in ok. Hels, my e-mail address should be available on here under my contact details. If you click on my name, it should bring it up.
Hi Helen , superb pics of a truly strangely marked Striata ,is it the same on both sides , the odd patern i mean ?
Hi Emma have you still got that monster Striata ? it would be nice to see a pic of that !
Unfortunately, that B. striata hasn't been seen for some months now, so we think it probably went up to the big fishtank in the sky. Still it had a good innings, but would have been nice to have been able to have captured some pictures - shame it was so very secretive.
