The two Schistura balteata that I got from Emma's last week have finally started venturing out into open water, they seemed very shy at first but over the last couple of days seem to have got very brave.

Nice pics, is that what they call the sumo loach? Where does that name even come from?

Yes that is indeed the Sumo Loach, as for where "Sumo" came from I don't really know but judging by the shoving contest they had over a cave the other night just like Hillies do that could explain it
