I just got four new P. anguillaris yesterday. The LFS has had them for a while, and I have really wanted them.

So far, they're doing great, and being really "eely."

I have them in a tank with cherry shrimp. Does anyone know if they'll eat the babies (that's not a problem, I have cherry shrimp breeding in many tanks)?

I would love to post pics, but I seriously doubt I'll get a good one of them.

Yes Lotus, difficult fish to photograph. They have a habit of sitting there, nice and still until just before you press the shutter.

This one is very "eely". No idea if they might eat newborn cherries. I think it's possible.

Martin.

So, Lotus...

Cool pic, Martin. :D

They're just so much more flexible than the dojo loaches I have, and really fun to watch. They're certainly very responsive to feeding time.

Yes, Shari, I have been a longtime fan of Hitchikers Guide :)

Interesting little Pangio's these are. Mine are either hiding in the substrate or swimming around the entire tank. I've got a few "gravid" females out of the 12 i keep. I just hope the males are co-operative. Here's one female (with a tummy-full).
