Hillie food

Post by Mad Duff » Tue Feb 10, 2009 1:12 pm

I have realised that my hillies go wild for the food I feed my shrimp, the food I have for feeding the shrimp is Ocean Nutrition - Shrimp wafers http://www.thelivingseas.uk.com/p/59900 ... s-15g.html

I just wondered if anyone else used them and have you noticed the hillies eating them, I added some to a couple of my other tanks and the loaches ate them but the hillies go wild for them :)

Thanks for the tip, I'll see if i can find it here. My hillstreams, except for one old g. stellatus that I've witnessed eating bloodworms, don't seem to eat anything but algae/aufwuchs. I'd love to get them eating something supplemental.

The first time I got it Graeme I got it off ebay, I was buying some food anyway and the guy had these so I thought I would give them a try and see what the shrimp think of them but to be honest the shrimp don't get chance at them
