Interesting to see larger kubotais with smaller clowns (it is the opposite on my end). How does it work out?

Thanks. They get along great. They all sleep in the same log together and often pile up on each other in the back corner of the tank on the side where I never turn the light on, the same side as the log. I like that because it allows the loaches to come out in the light or stay on the dark side of the tank. I have had them all together for about 3.5 months now. Soon all the clowns will be in the 125 and I might leave the Kubotai in the 55. I havent decided yet.

Nice loaches! I love the cave complex. I couldn't find any nice rock anywhere around here and ended up with all sorts of odds and ends in both tanks.



I've got the fake logs with slate piled on top of them for the pleco who shares it with one clown and the polka dots. I'm not sure where the other clowns disappear to but they sure do.

The darios use the little hut structures. They squeeze into the tiny hole on their side and every now and then leave a tail sticking out while they sleep on their side. The third dario uses another corner cave. The corner cave area is heavily planted and the clowns spend a lot of time grazing them. The other side of the tank has another planted area with some wood for the gold nugget pleco.

There's three golden wonder killies in with them that I sort of inherited.

Thanks for the nice comments. At one time I had 3 B. Dario. 2 of them died of skinny diease in quaratine and the other one is with my B. Striata and has taken up their habits.

I love they way they get inside the cave formations and peak out a crack. I keep wanting to take a picture. Sometimes I'll go by and there will be two or three heads looking out. The clown will join them too at times.
