Scientific name: Iksookimia koreensis (Kim, 1975 )

Common name: Korean Loach

Synonyms: Cobitis koreensis kooreensis

Distribution: Korea

Sexual Dimorphism: Not known

Maximum size: 3.5 inches (9cm)

Similar to: Other Cobitis

Care: Lives in slow-moving waters over sandy substrates. The aquarium should aim to match these conditions with good filtration and some flow. Subdued lighting.

Feeding: Will eat most proprietry aquarium foods, supplemented live and frozen foods.

Water parameters: pH: 7.0 - 7.7 Hardness: Medium Max dh: 12

Temperature: 64.4- 72ºF (18-22 °C).

Breeding: Not bred in aquaria

Notes: Lives in clear streams and is considered a threatened species.

Sheesh! You're too damned quick. It was a 3-named species, but since its name change, they dropped the last one......which I forgot to delete from the title after finding out about the name change.
