fluval 403

I have one on my 55 gallon, been using it on and off w/ tanks for the good part of 4 years now. Very reliable.. priming it after cleaning it out is kind of annoying, but once you figure out your way of priming it, you'll love the 403. I'm assuming you can get it for a cheap price..? They go on ebay ...

killed data

but didn't they bring data's entire memory into the less-developed data look-a-like... I thought I saw wiggle room there. Maybe not. They could always find Lore and remove his emotion chip right? Or perhaps dr. sung (spelling?) developed one more android before he died... they could recreate a data ...

i'm enjoying

As an avid Star Trek: TNG fan i'm just enjoying all of the references to it. I just read a minute ago that the hillstream species fans are now a "collective." That's funny.

my clowns

Even though one of my loaches is about an inch longer, and quite a bit more plump than the others, his colors are no different. The big one is probably about 4.5 inches. Maybe they aren't mature enough yet for the "alpha" to grey out.. I don't know, but I don't an "alpha" in my tank yet; its been se...

where to buy

1. Where do you all buy your fish.. do you just visit your LFS or Petsmarts? 2. If I had just the 5 clowns, what else could be compatible that wasn't a community fish... I mean, something w/ more personality... a mild mannered south american cichlid? 3. If I got rid of the angel and kept the 2 silve...

Lose the angel. Waaaay too much current. Its terriby uncomfortable. Not wise to keep those alone or with fish as fast moving as everything else you have there. very very bad choice. I was an angel nut for years trust me. Ditch it. Otherwise pretty nice stuff. A couple of those rocks are mildly calc...

new videos! new tank design!

ok, I added a whole bunch of rocks and tried to make hiding areas for the loaches. In the first little bit of observing them, they seem to really like exploring all the new spots. Also, I added a MarineLand Maxi-Jet 900 power head, rated at 230gph on the right side of the tank blowing left. The ripp...

OH and dude- your nitrate kit is FAAUUUULTY... Its difficult to get a good nitrate kit. You have to shell out about forty bucks. This is the kit I bought at petsmart for much more money. The seal was intact under the cap. Seems like a good name brand... http://www.bigalsonline.com/BigAlsUS/ctl3684/...

Re: impressive

Im SURE you must in Florida. That's a pretty vibrant aquarist community. A lot of things are collected for the trade around Florida. I just noticed you're from St Petersburg btw! It's probably my favourite part of Florida... The people are very mellow there. Much nicer than Miami Nothing can be mor...
