Congratulation,

BUT - are you sure that theses are sewellias? Compared with my small sewellias … Annamia could match too.

You are very close to breed sewellia! Get the danios out of the Tank an put in some gravel instead inside. The sewellia fry will appear after one week - sudenly. The gravel will give the fry cover for the firts days.

keep the fingers cross, you have don several things right!

Hi, Good to see this article - well done and full of insights. As "the German Aquarist" who also bred Sewellia, I can confirm any given information. Well done. Breeding Sewellia is still full of mysteries, but there are some reports and there is hope, that perhaps Sewellia is of the first loaches, t...

hi, i have seen this "pits" sometimes in the morning, but i think this is more a sign of territorial behaviour. sometimes it looks like the males design places to wait for females. i was very surprised about what i have seen, but i think the place is not so important, i think the strong current was ...

Sewellia lineolata questions

hi there, i have some important questions about sewellia lineolata. first, 5 sewellia live in my river tank together with l-134, witch is a strange combination. but it works very well. sometimes the temperature rises up to 30 degrees celsius but the sewellia shows no signs of aversions - it seems th...
